Chefchaouen is known as Morocco's blue city for a reason! As you can see on this cityscape that I took from a sunset viewpoint next to the town, all of the houses are painted in blue and white. In the streets of the Medina, the blue buildings look even more impressive!

I loved Chefchaouen while I was there in 2014. Did you visit any plantations?
I only had a limited travel time, so I only spent one full day in Chefchaouen which was not enough time to explore the surroundings, so I ended up just taking photos and talking to locals. But I absolutely loved it there!
