Dear Steemit,
Thank you for everything you were for me two years ago. It was during some difficult times that I found you, able to come to this platform to catch a break. I used this platform to organize my thoughts in the form of words, to practice my writing and realize the value of the content I created. I wrote as much as I could, more than I ever had in such a short amount of time, about everything I believed about art. I sincerely invested myself into this work, and... it made me realize I want to be a writer. I'm so grateful for that.
To all my followers, if you're still here: after my long absences between posting, I want to be honest and admit that this platform no longer fits who I am. At least not now. But I did want to post one last photograph before I disappear again: "In a House, Divided."
Before I bid farewell, I would like to mention Patreon. I am moving onto the platform in order to raise financial support for my projects. If you found my articles on Steemit to be valuable in the past, please consider signing up for a monthly membership as I'll be exploring these same topics further in writing.
Best wishes in all your endeavors,
- John
