This is a typical isolated thunderstorm which occurred last August during the 2018 monsoon season in Sedona Arizona USA.
Its dry here now and we would like to see some wet weather.

Thats awesome the lightening bolt is so distinct I'm impressed that you were able to capture it. I don't know much about photography but maybe timing isn't an issue and taking a picture like that is easy? I feel like it would be challenging
Thanks for your comment. It's not easy to get good shots of lightning, but after doing it for 20 years now it's still a challenge and a thrill. And yes timing is always most important.

That looks like quite a storm! Probably would not be fun to get stuck in unless you were in a car or a building or some kind of shelter. We sure do get some amazing storms here. Cool shot.
