Oak Creek Canyon has a lot of gorgeous scenery to offer as well as Oak Creek for swimming in the summertime . Uptown Sedona the Tourist business district is located at the mouth of Oak Creek canyon and this is what you might see if you head north toward Flagstaff.

I really like how the colors contrast with each other, all the sandstone and reddish dirt, and the deep to light blue of the sky. But then I have always loved the look of the desert in Nevada, Utah, Arizona area. One day I hope to do a little more traveling through New Mexico.
