in #photofeed7 years ago

The first Buddhist temple we ever visited in Japan back in 2015.

this is how we started our travels to Japan; our dream of get to know Japanese culture, walk in their streets and capture all the beauty this country has to offer.

after that trip we had come back many times to Japan visiting different places so its just a matter to dig in the archive and publish more photos

Nice, theres a lot of very interesting temples out there, have to find the ones lost in the mountains, they are really cool.

do you have any names you can share or locations in google maps?

Hard to say there are so many. One cool one was at a place called Osorezan in the north of Japan, next to a sulfur lake, the name translates to Mt. Fear. There are the 88 temples of Shikoku built by one guy a long time ago, also some cool ones. There's one which i cant remember in Kyushu its which is supposed to be one of the oldest standing wooden temple in Japan or something. Haha sorry not much help.

thats enough information for me to start doing some research :) thanks for the info

No problem, a lot of the cool ones are the little random ones not always on the map, they have real character as the big popular ones are always being remade and kept clean.
