RE: Rockets and Stars: a Thrilling Weekend of Photography in Cape Canaveral

Wow

The first shot in the post got me. It looks to me that the time was well spent, those are absolutely amazing. You have a really good eye, and you learned something for the next try. Angle up just a bit, lol.
I was going to ask what you edited the space center shot in but as you mentioned Photoshop, I will assume that was the case for all of the shots. You are rather good at the astrophotography, I am much impressed. Plus you got to hang with some pretty cool nerds. Awesome post.

What a great comment, thank you, @coinsandchains!!! :D Yes, there's a bit of Lightroom and Photoshop in most of these photos - and if you mean the photo of the rocket boosters at Kennedy, I did some dodging and burning on that one in Photoshop. :)

Cool, thanks for the reply. You really hit the jackpot on this one, a curie vote, utopian, and steemstem. That is quite a combination of votes, the perfect storm.
I was talking about that one and the picks of the Atlantis, dodging and burning. hmmm. Iol I learned how to use filters and shutter speed to get the cool foamy/misty water effect a few days ago. I'll never be a pro, but if I ask enough questions of great ones I'll at least be better...
