The purple heron (Ardea purpurea)

Hi guys,
Today I went birding again and I got this shot of the The purple heron (Ardea purpurea). I have to say I am very happy with how this all came together.

I spotted it in a nature reserve called Intaka Island in Cape Town South Africa.

    Beautiful photography, you can see that this elegant bird flies without much effort, I imagine that you could enjoy this moment, seeing this image makes me think about the freedom we can have as a person in eventual situations.     Beautiful pic... In fullscreen everything is perfect :-), the wings, the eye with the blurriness of the background...

          that is truly a fabulous shot.
          piece of advice: its better to add some details like used device, location, how you took the picture etc etc.
          i know photographs are supposed to be enough but a little more information would be great

            hi @masummim50 thanks for your comment, I specifically do not say what gear I use, because that always ends up in a Canon vs Nikon debate, as for the location, I did mention where I took the photo in my post, but if there is something specific you would like to know I am more than willing to share any info with you
