What is Modern in this very traditional Indian Village Image?
The answer is not in the image itself, but on the other side which is not seen
Modern Hampi is split is two parts by the Tungabhadra River. On one side we have the Famous Virupaksha Temple along with most of the Vijayanagara Empire Ruins. On the other side, We have the Hippie Island which is sort of the hub of Hangout for the tourists. In this side we have a lot of shack Restaurants and Bars like the one i mentioned in my last post. People either have to take the coracle boats to cross the river or take the long road to cross to either side, but the former is generally preferred.
In the Image, You are seeing the Ghats on the Virupaksha Temple side of Hampi. I took this Image right after I crossed to the Hippie Island side by the coracle boat.
