You captured quite a bit of color for 1/30 second! I wonder what you would have achieved at 2 seconds. Did you play around with the settings? I would love to shoot the aurora. The closest I got was a green glow above the horizon one year in Scotland!
Ops... I just update the post. It was 30s, not 1/30s 😄
At 1/30s you need an impressive ISO to have something visible in the final image...
