A trip to the zoo with grandchildren -
a LION sighting!
At a restaurant after the zoo visit,
those adorable grandkids acted like monkeys and elephants, spilling tall water glasses that were filled to the top, and other assorted antics grandmas do not discuss, least of all in public. They're always perfect!
It's always as good as this!
Grandmas don't report the little incidents behind the scenes,
and when asked if THEIR kids ever did "that," the answer is "Of course not!"

Hard to argue with cherubic grandkids.
Unless, of course, you're like me, and have none. In which case they're simply wonderful kids.
Who absolutely positively deserve to have their confidences kept. Which far too few "adulys" seem to understand.
Thanks for being a stupendous grandma. ;-)

Aww, you will (or would have been) SUCH a wonderful grandma! I don't recall you mentioning offspring, or nieces/nephews via your sister Carol, and if both of you had no children, that is a serious lack of contributing to the gene pool! Not just the gene pool but the naturre vs nurture, or nurture vs nature, pool. Sorry. That boxed wine from Sam's Club, "Black Box," cabernet sauvignon, must be making me ramble more than usual. I hope you have nieces and nephews if nothing else - you are too awesome not to!
They're so totally cute!
So happy for you.
