Yes but that's where it gets really complicated. For example if someone posts something that questions mob rule they would likely get pushed off, even though mob rule is often irrational. Mobs believe they are being responsible and the people they are persecuting irresponsible. A good example of this is the recent metoo movement. If someone questions it they get decimated.

This is the tough price that comes with free speech. If we're truly going to be for free speech then we have to recognise that there'll be many things said which are totally against our sensibilities. This includes the scammers, people of opposing politics, religion and more.

There is this crazy war going on here on steem between someone called something like Haejin and berniesanders. They vote each other's stuff down and pound each other. Making accusations etc. I've no idea who's right/wrong but they'd both be off steem if it were possible to remove people I'm sure.
