I find writing leads to me discovering what's in my head, and it sounds like that's what's happening to you as well. Your location is apparently good for your circumstances, which I am encouraged to read. Nice a carnivore diet agrees with you, is available, and turns out to be a product of the failure of government to keep the powerlines delivering, at least in the short term. Let's hope that turns out to be more sustainable than government competence.

As to what makes art valuable, it is it's ability to touch people where they lack such affect. You'll have to define value as something besides money to keep the market out of the discussion.
