If thoughts were things...
How complicated life would be, if every word that we spit out was a concrete thing, always landing with a thud on our feet, cluttering the ground infinitely in every direction.
We would probably learn to remind each other ”Be careful with your words!” because everyone would see how solid each one of the words that they uttered really were.
When consciously armed with such powers, it wouldn’t take long for everyone to begin-- not only in their actions, but in their very words-- to voluntarily and willfully create a cooperative, harmonic symphony of their ideas, wishes and dreams.
If our mere words were able to shape reality instantaneously, we would instantaneously learn to be careful what we wished for.
If we could speak the universe into existence, then we would quickly find out how unlucky it is to say things like ”I have the worst luck!”
Conversely, in such a world we might discover that, since we were wholly responsible for the things that came into our lives when we precipitated them with our words, then we might find ourselves happily announcing to the sky or the ocean or the entire Earth that ”everything is going my way now!”
What we may be describing then, is a reality generator.
The Homemade Reality Generator
What if we invented such a program, a sort of machine, capable of generating into reality-- not only the words that we speak, but also every single thought in our heads? Would that get too messy?
The ultimate reality generator would be capable of turning mere thoughts into actual things, even before the words were spoken out loud.
Taking Control of the Device
A brief visit to a such a world where every thought is a thing would likely be terrifying, as every fear that we can imagine would suddenly manifest into reality.
It would probably be complete chaos right away. One might think, ’I think I’ll have some chocolate’ but then also worry about gaining weight, and then decide against ingesting the treat. In an instant, the thinker has now created a world where their body is fatter, and they didn’t even get to enjoy the chocolate that was manifested.
Having every single thought swirl into existence doesn’t sound safe, so a user-friendly reality generator would need a filter, or a secondary system that would authorize the thought into existence, instead of allowing every single wild thought to show up every second.
Two-factor Authorization
There would have to be some kind of safety switch, or a two-factor authorization of some kind, so that a thought would have to have confirmation from the will of the individual who is doing this thinking and talking.
Using Feelings as Fuel for the Generator of Everything
To design this creative device, it’s creators would perhaps build it so that the main generator would only operate if it had fuel. This way, a thought could be entertained, but would be only a potential reality until it was powered up by the will of the user.
The user would then be able to use their own will to decide which thoughts would become words, and which of these words would be fueled up to then become things.
Once chosen, the user would then fuel the thought with an emotional charge, and those potent feelings, be they joy, euphoria, happiness, excitement, fear or despair, anger or rage, when saddled by the thought, could be chosen-- through the power of will.
The fuel would be easy to recognize when it was used; the physical body might shake or sweat, and the heartbeat can increase, the cheeks and head might be felt to be reddening, or the spine might feel like a whirlwind is surrounding it. Anytime this fuel is willfully released in any amount, it can easily be felt in the body.
Now We Have Complete Control, Right?
With the power of will now in control of the precipitation of thought, the device should now be simple to operate safely.
A heart generates a big donut of electromagnetic geometry around the user, and that donut has a squishy center which contains the emotion-based fuel. The rest of the donut is the blank canvas, ready to be decorated by the user, who is naturally equipped with mind and will power, a daring unit of consciousness that is willing and ready to test the gadget.
It Wasn’t As Easy As it Sounded
The standard operation of such a generative tool is not easy at first. This isn’t meant to discourage new users from experimenting with the generative device that they are controlling, but the emotional fuel is stored in the ring section of the donut-- the filling, so that it doesn’t accidentally touch a thought until the user is ready to empower it. There’s a reason for that feature.
The trouble that many operators run into, is that they forget that they are the one generating the donut, and in the excitement, they might accidentally expose themselves to the emotional ring, or torus, a donut that is meant to be accessible, but is also meant to be a tool, a means of powering the field that surrounds it upon command of the user.
It’s easy to get caught up in the excitement and start thinking that the emotional donut that surrounds the user IS the user, and often the user will allow the emotional field to close in tightly around the heart, so that there is hardly any space between the emotional geometries and their source.
If the user, or unit of consciousness is unwilling to remain centered, they might find themselves spinning out into that emotional-filled donut, charging every single thought that happens to occur, and this mess sprays back into their faces, as each emotionally powered thought becomes what is. This dizzying ride might cause the user’s mind’s connections to be disrupted or distorted, and is not recommended.
Frequently Asked Questions:
Many who test the reality generator have questions about the device and it’s functions once they’ve engaged with that reality for any length of time, but by far the most common question is; ”What is the purpose?”
Q: What is the use of a reality generator-- what purpose does it serve?
A: Consciousness is worth investigating, and with all of it’s intricate complexities, there is no better way for consciousness to introspectively examine itself than to look at, feel, smell and hear the ornate tapestry of creation that is manifested when a reality generator is functioning.
Q: Wouldn’t reality manifest itself just fine by itself, without the help of a generator?
A: Reality is already manifested in the form of pure consciousness, the generator just acts as a sort of mirror for consciousness to ‘see’ itself in. Without the generator that we call our hearts acting as a conduit, or gateway between the real world and a potential world, then consciousness would still be, but wouldn’t get to experience itself being divided infinitely into individual units.
Q: Can the generator be fueled with hateful feelings?
A: As a general rule, if the user can feel the emotion in their own body, then it will power up the thoughts that coincide with that feeling. With our torus ring surrounding us, we are the ones that provide the energy to power up thoughts, and if our torus is filled with hateful feelings, then we will find ourselves living in the hole of an ugly-filled donut, when we could just as potently charge the device with some love, or joy, and live within the middle space of a joy-filled feedback loop instead of a hateful one.
Have Fun!
While some find the operation of a reality generator to be too stressful, many enjoy the art of practicing thinking of things, charging them with an emotional boost, then actually living in that reality.
If every thought was a real thing, we would have a real mess to wallow in here, but with a reality generator, we get to choose which of those thoughts will be precipitated into physical reality. Some make an art of it, others make sport of it, but a properly run reality generator has the ability to make a complete disaster of the world, while it has the same power to create a beautiful reality.
It’s really up to the user’s will which kind of world they will choose to generate.
Remember to stay centered, right in the middle, and that green median will be where you create playgrounds, plant your gardens, build your castles, and race your flying machines, willfully and deliberately making things what they are. It’s just that simple to generate reality, after all.

useful words are like gold, but if the wrong word is poison for ourselves, I like posting friends.
Yep and also, your upvote on the post can be like gold as well, and can inspire other upvotes.
yes thanks friends.
Well I find that many people have their own version of reality. Most of the time the people around me are living in some kind of artificial reality that for me doesn't exist but to them is the only world they've ever known.
Of course there's a song I used to listen to that had a quote that I probably won't forget anytime soon.
"Reality is the only word in the language that should always be used in quotes."
That's a good quote, and so true. I would probably insist that my reality is the actual one, and it would be true, but only for me.
I believe that something similar to what you have imagined is the power of visualization. If we visualize our future (and take the right steps towards it) the likelihood is that that visualization will become reality.
Oh yeah! The deeper levels of mind apparently communicate in pictures and symbols instead of words, and the most frequently introduced pictures are the ones most likely to precipitate into what is. Thanks for adding that.
I think if a reality machine existed, the first thing I would bring into existence it the destruction of the reality machine and make it to where no one could wish anything they wanted into existence. Hard choice, but I think for my "reality" (see I read the remarks/comments first), it would be the right thing to do.
Our consciousness and subconsciousness are already to powerful, and I believe it is growing year by year. People are getting to where they can embrace their entire being, ego, id and superego. Their whole being, and are coming to grips with the fact that they do not need to kill off a part of themselves as the white coats want. Do people really think Freud was an egoless man? I don't think so.
When we pour our heart and spirit into something and then have the ego to back it all up, that is when miracles happen. Tell Elon Musk that landing a spent booster on a recover barge can not be done? Tell him he can not land two spent booster on a NASA landing pad with in seconds of each other. He had the heart, spirit and ego to make that happen. people are learning that ego, is not a bad thing, and we do not need to kill a part of ourselves to be whole. How can you kill a part of yourself and still be whole?
I enjoyed the post and all the comments.
It will be instance side effects in every words you utter ,so thank god all these are not reality. But you are a wonderful personality, every time you appear with new ideology.Sometimes it so happend that i don't understand your article as my English is very poor. But you did not teach me English. You are be best friend ,i think ,so i dear to write all this things to you.Anyway ,wish you a happy day dear.
I don't think I could teach English very quickly, especially since I don't know your language for comparison.
Don't worry, my articles are hard to understand sometimes, even for those who speak English. Happy morning to you!
Well, that was rather fascinating. It must be synchronicity because I've been thinking that I need to be more mindful of what I say and think... that I am indeed creating my own reality with the energy of words and thoughts. I truly am the Avatar. i'm doing way better than I ever have but there seems to be graduated levels of consciousness I can access through managing my thoughts/beliefs. Thanks for the thought provoking post. Blessing be upon you.
Yep, you got what I was saying. I was describing all of us, as if the device had yet to be invented. Some thought my device would be too dangerous, as if they'd never tried to operate one before.
Isn't it freaky that we want to control everything? Be mindful? All the time?
I alternate sublime moments of art, music and spirituality to fart and toilet thoughts.
The reality is that farts always have been funny, it's just a fact.
No one person perceives reality the same way. So much of how reality is perceived depends on the individual's experiences and emotional filters. I think even with the safeguards in place you decribed, anyone who uses the machine would have to be of strong will, with good control over their emotions. It could be rather dangerous used by someone without those attributes.
Maybe all of those individual realities can be combined to make the actual reality, like all of us are a supreme being, making it all happen.
The machine does sound dangerous, and if we imagine whole populations of individuals operating these things, they would probably keep creating the same world over and over, for fear of creating something new that doesn't work. Then a few strong-willed emotionless individuals would begin telling everybody else what to think, and what to create.
I think that individual realities do combine in a sense through the Jungian concept of the "collective unconscious".
Yes I tend agree with you concidering that is basically what has happened throughout human history. The strong willed individuals with sociopathic tendencies leading and shaping the reality of the weak..
This one had me thinking....
First thought "Is Paul on Acid?" LOL
Just kidding
And if we think about our thoughts intent and words do create our reality in such a large way ...
