I acknowledge that I have been tremendously blessed compared to the situation of many others and I try to practice giving as a way of life. I could always give more, it takes discipline and it takes avoiding complacency.

I don't feel the guilt for the "privilage" that culture is trying to tell me I'm supposed to feel as a young white male, I feel indebted to my King, creator of Heaven and Earth.

I've been redeemed absolutely free-of-charge, it's not like I actually owe the King anything for what He did for me. But I do. If you know what I mean. How can anyone be given such an amazing gift and not do whatever you can to please the gift-giver. The best thing that can be done (and is what is asked of us) is to imitate the kindness and generosity of the King of the Universe. Forgive debts, give cheerfully, embrace the WORD and seek the ancient paths. Walk the narrow path, repent quickly and often while rejoicing that we may KNOW the creator of the Universe and the Son of God and Salvation is written on the doorpost of our house and is bound upon our hands and is a frontlet for our eyes.

This is what it means to 'Be Blessed": We Bless the Most High God YHVH.

@ironshield

Always the best way! If all walked in this manner we would be better off!

The reign of God is inside those who fear Him. @ironshield

The 'system' can NOT be fixed.
It'll either crash or be made irrelevant by individual sovereignity.
or both.

Agreed! I believe we are past the tipping point and the powers that be will make sure that we stay the course. It's just sad that so many innocent and needy suffer along the way to feed the hungry elites.

While I don't disagree with the premise, the type of person that feels entitled, especially someone who games the system to achieve their own selfish ends, I do feel the need to ask. Have you ever seen corporate welfare? Subsidies (tax dollars) handed out to the tune of 1000% more than what is spent on social welfare.

Sure the argument can be made that at least they contribute something back to the economy. Well, so does every other working citizen, however they aren't given relevant tax breaks nor leniency under the IRS.

IMO, this is where the failing of communities furthers poverty and crime. Losing the value of home and neighbor while new generations sprout up in ignorance and despair.

I guess what I meant to say is that it's a top down problem, not a bottom up, even thought I also think that it can only be fixed from the bottom up to the top which your post seems to indicate is also the same goal!

Fix the problem, not the symptom.

Agreed, so many times we address the symptom of an issue without addressing the actual issue. When I say I want a system revamp I know it will never happen and now the elephant in the room has gotten to big to control. Couple that will the multitude of other issues and the problems are overwhelming and can't be controlled anymore. Just like I told @everittdmickey we are past the tipping point and I fear we are beyond help with our system and society as a whole. We are on a crash course for destruction but no one seems to see or care except a few that are awake. Time for all of us to start praying, not to be rescued from our current situation but for our salvation.
