RE: Revelation 25

Every word must live up to it's true definition, or else the word would not exist.

That's only true if words have true definitions. If the definitions of words are statements that are apt to be neither true nor false, but are simply summations of what a speaker can assert in their linguistic community, then words do not need to do anything. Speakers would be well-advised to live up to community expectations, but that's nothing to do with truth.

Thus, if we all agree that the squiggles on a screen making the shape 'ONE' isn't the opposite of the shape 'many' , this dichotomy is no longer necessarily true.

If there is any relation that stops there being many masters and one slave, it is not through some magical appeal to 'true' meanings. It is the intentional exercise of naked power, wealth, and privilege that makes the many slaves to the few.

Speaking of which, your photos and steem wallet make me thing that you have accumulated more power, wealth, and privilege than many people drawing breath today. Are you a master, slave, or both? Do you know who pulls your strings, or who is poorer so that you can be where you are today? Not many people can answer that question - and even fewer care to.

So come on then, self-purchased master of the #philosophy tag, dispense with your bland aphorisms and beige photos, and lay some real truth upon us about who you really are!
