Letter to the brothers in Rio Linda

Hello, My name is Roberto Rodriguez and live in Puerto Rico, located in the Caribbean Sea, a USA territory.
Although this is not a regular presentation post, I will like to say this. My intention is to start a string of posts to share about my very particular and personal quest for peace in the spirit. Almost everyone has gone through an evolving, progressively gaining consciousness process through life. I know that many might not be in this life stage yet , where this is more important than money and that they are here mostly to make money and that is OK. But in social media there is room for everybody. Again , this is my own personal journey and I will like to define it as : Philosophical, Christian, Catholic, Personal and Testimonial; in other word, and introspection of lived life. These post are presented very respectfully to all faiths and ideas and by no means can be construed as any type of confrontation with others views but only a plain presentation of my views on these subjects. I chose to write sort of a letter 'a la' St. Paul, thus the title, ' Letter to my brothers in Rio Linda'.

LETTER TO THE BROTHERS IN RIO LINDA

GREETINGS

I, a former resident of Rio Linda, by way of the flesh am a descendent of some very good Puerto Ricans and by the spirit from of an itinerant Jew, I greet the brothers of Rio Linda in the love of the Father, the faith in Christ and the Grace of the Holy Spirit. I write this letter as a supplication to my brothers in Rio Linda, my fellow travelers on our pilgrimage back to the Celestial Homeland. It is my hope that it get to you in a moment of receptivity, so that when you hear the words of this letter you will rekindle your faith like those who are passing through a moment of spiritual dryness and that it functions as a bell, as a trumpet with a thunder to those who are asleep in their faith .

PREFACE

Where is Rio Linda, whose inhabitants this letter is addressed to? In reality, it is not a geographical place, but a state of consciousness or rather unconsciousness. ( Be in Rio Linda is how they call the clueless in some places on the planet).
Some people live detached of their environment. Who do not know where their country is located in the world, much less other countries. They do not know where the north is, nor the south, it is hard for them to distinguish between left and right. You could say that they are geographically disabled.

There are others who are very knowledgeable about geographical elements and are also very knowledgeable in a multitude of subjects. They know what is happening in their country and in the world, they know of the topics in discussion of the moment, of the tendencies and conflicts of the world. In fact, some have written books, are asked to give lectures in very important places, they are in the media and even teach in universities, where they use textbooks written by themselves. However they also live in Rio Linda. For although they are very conscious of their "natural environment," they seem to have no notion of their spiritual environment (we struggle with dominations and powers, St. Paul tells us - the devil is like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour, St. Peter reminds us) , Or do not see the implications of cultural policies, laws and biases on "the social fabric" - to use a phrase by Sister Isolina Ferré *, which in effect are the result of the attacks of the "roaring lion" in his relentlessly work to take us back to paganism. All this vast and "progressive" knowledge of their natural environment seems to prevent them from seeing that the concerted push of most mass media, most of the cultural offerings and also of the liberal education system is, in its core , " A new evangelization "or rather anti-evangelization, an attack that as termites or as a social cancer, is dragging us into pre-Christian times, where" the nations did not know God ", and lived in paganism.
Unfortunately, Rio Linda is the most populous country in the world and is suffering a population explosion. We are more and more disobedient to God. There are situations where sometimes disrespect God, despite being very assiduous to the Church and even going to "daily mass" or to the Church of their predilection.

FOREWORD

I chose to address this letter to the inhabitants of Rio Linda, because that was my spiritual address for a long time, as the following story attests.
