RE: THE ART OF CREATING MEANING INTO YOUR LIFE

Sounds like this is very much inspired by Buddhism - although I'd dare to suggest that the ultimate way to realize happiness is to realize that 'meaning' is a human construct, and so there is no ultimate meaning - without contradicting anything you're saying!

Absolutely true @revisesociology - meaning is purely a social / semiotic construct

P.S. I also just want to say 'welcome to the @curie upvote tree' - it's happened to me too, same string of upvotes for a couple of my posts, but don't be fooled into thinking that 60 odd people have actually read your paying posts! I'm sure that won't last forever. I suggest we support eachothers work - we talk about similar things, and forming a clique, that's the only way to sustain your income on here I think.

Thanks @revisesociology - I get what you are saying and I guarantee you I am not fooled by it or have any expectations whatsoever. I am more inclined to think it was a fluke to be honest. And yes I totally agree with you in that we have to support each other and building a community around topics we are genuinely interested in. Thanks again :)
