RE: Are We Addicted To Negativity???

in #philosophy7 years ago (edited)

Truly you are touching on one of the deep truths of this life. It really does boil down to one question, what will we individually decide to choose in this life? Will we pursue unity and clarity driven from the inside, or will we pursue drama and suffering through a mentality of outside-in (the victim of life). It seems to require a lot of clarity and fortitude to even make this choice. Not making a choice automatically funnels you into negativity.

Unfortunately it's rare to find people who want to take that level of responsibility for their world and their reality. So we get cycled round in confusion and negativity, reinforcing it in ourselves and others. Seemingly all of this pain does serve a purpose, in that it makes people intense enough to make a deep inner decision in how they pursue life.

Circumstances definitely affect our consciousness. Yet still there are individuals who are strong enough to willfully manifest a more abundant life. These are the special task force alive on the planet now. I want to speculate that the special task force is seeding the right ideas and social structures to assist others in also disconnecting from negative tendencies. It's interesting that our fixation with negativity is so strong, that we can hardly believe that life can be effortless and fulfilling, and that we can make this work for all human beings. Mentally there is a huge obligation to what clearly isn't working.

A more appropriate metaphor might be clearing up the 'viral' forms of consciousness that dwell in scarcity, hatred, division and the like. This would allow our naturally capacity for abundance to manifest.
