Applying the same logic that suggests that porcupines cannot mate because they can't get past the quills? Tortoises cannot mate because there's a shell in the way?

It's easy to make it look ridiculous if you place the same image over itself and don't allow for either animal to have changed position to allow access. Heck, you could even argue it for humans if you had two images of humans with their legs firmly together, it's clearly impossible in that position - but that doesn't make it impossible.

There are plenty of large reptiles around today you could say the same for if you just put one image on top of another like your example. It would look ridiculous for a crocodile or a komodo dragon as their big tails would be in the way, but of course they manage it.

What other holes are there in the myth?

I have to agree with @neilcrabbe here.

This post wasn't about debating whether dinosaurs existed or not it was simply pointing out the cognitive dissonance involved with many when their reality is questioned. I respect both of your views and appreciate your input...peace!

That's fair. And your cognitive dissonance point is a good one

I just had to get my point across about discussing fringe topics. Anyways, I appreciate your honesty and hope to hear from you again.

First off, all of the animals you listed are alive today and none of them weigh 10 tons. To this day we still don't have a complete fossil of a dinosaur, just small skeletal parts here and there. Go to any museum that displays a dinosaur skeleton or pieces of one and they will admit they are all plastic replicas or grafted from various animals bones. Dinosaurs were drilled into our heads as children so we would accept the doomsday scenario of mass extinction being a possibility. Your assuming that we have a legitimate full skeletal structure, the creatures are nothing more than a form of art. Not to mention ALL the so called dino bones were found when paleontologists where specifically searching for them. The word dinosaur comes from the root word terrible lizard and was invented in 1842. Yes, really, the word dinosaur means terrible lizard. Research the bone wars and come to your own conclusions.
