My garden is at a stalled pace, with all this darn rain. The rest of my preps are good to go, except my water (drinking) but I do have a berkey, to drink from my rain barrels. LOL
Yeah, too much rain can literally drown a garden. Raised beds provide better drainage, and can solve most problems. If your soil has too much clay, that slows down drainage.
That's not good! I'm a retired farmer and some years the weather was so bad that it caused crop failure.... That's why I've stockpiled a lot of food and extra seeds, because if the SHTF, I want a backup plan.

The Berkey is an excellent product....
Cheers!
99% of my beds are raised. But we have had brutal rain, and no sun for seems like days so everything is just water logged.

Thanks for commenting!
good thinking, me too, however I realized that seeds I had put up, three years ago did not produce this spring so far, replanting this week.
