The Truth Speaks

I have decided to begin copying my blog on WordPress here. I have a lot of thoughts that I feel need to be shared to a wide audience. Below is the first post from my blog. others will follow.

Every day, people want to make comments, or statements that they believe in, and want to convince others are correct. I believe that the truth speaks for itself. Contrary to an idea that is gaining popularity, truth is not relative. Truth is no more relative than scientific laws. Believing that gravity doesn’t exist won’t make you float. Believing that time will stop progressing will not make your boss accept that you are on time, if you arrived an hour late for work. Likewise, believing that something is true when it isn’t, or conversely believing it isn’t true when it is will have no effect on the truth. One of the key attributes of truth is that it is true regardless of whether anyone believes it, or is even aware of it. All truth is immutable.

When we hear the truth, a part of us will always hear it, and will begin to prick our minds to recall that truth over and over until we find a reason to believe it, even if all of our prior experience has caused us to believe the opposite. This is the second great attribute of truth.

Each thing that I write is written with the intent to convey truths that I have learned, so that everyone has an opportunity to gain that same understanding. Some of the things that I will be writing here will be of a religious, and especially a spiritual nature. these things can be verified by the same way that any other thing I say can. You will find that a part of you already believes them. You will read things that sound familiar, even if you have never read the books, or heard the speakers that I have read and heard. Those things will play through your mind over and over until you come to realize that you believed them even before you read my writings.

I am not the originator of these thoughts. I am merely writing them in a format that I believe will help as many people as I can to understand the truths that I have found. I do not claim to have all truth. The truth is found all over the world, and throughout the universe to be discovered by anyone who has the courage to challenge their own beliefs and look for ever greater answers to their own questions. Many of the things I will write about have been written of by many others before me, and I will quote and paraphrase others who have written about them, often without siting the person or people I quote. This is not because I do not wish to give them credit, but because many people have reached the same answers as those I have taken from. These are thoughts that belong to all humanity, not a school assignment, or novel. I draw from fiction, religion, philosophy, and science. I am in a sense a modern alchemist, seeing a connection between all disciplines that goes beyond the established boundaries of each.
