I wasn't irritated by their comments, and I am optimistic enough to think that the comment wasn't a waste of time and might one day help someone, even if that someone is not him/her.

I would really love to camping. I haven't done so since I was a teenager, and at that point it was more about getting extremely high in a smokey tent than observing and immersing myself in nature. It is very fucking cold in Scotland though, so I will have to wait for a good opportunity before I can do it.
