The 5 deadly sins of the middlemen. And why you should never work for these parasites.

in #philosophy8 years ago

I want to share with you something I learned the hard way and would like to spare other people from having to live it.

Below, is what I think are the 5 deadly sins of the middleman. and just like the 7 deadly sins, they all lead to each other, so when you spot one, know that the others are there too.

 1 - GREED

This, they share with the seven deadly sins. The middlemen are greedy. They are actually the greediest of all.
The reason you pay so much is due to these parasites.
Let me give a simple example. You go to the store to buy a pound of apple, and you pay lets say $1.50 for it. Now let me break it down to you, the farmer, made probably 10 to 15 cents a pound, the store made also 10 to 15 cents for that same pound. The rest ? yes you guessed it. It went to the one who did nothing.

 2 - IGNORANCE

The middlemen are in for the money and nothing else. they have, for the most part, no knowledge whatsoever  of what they are selling. And they tend to believe that everything is easy, because they actually never did anything by themselves, so they have no idea how much efforts and sweat it takes to achieve the task.

3 - UNGRATEFULNESS

This is somehow related to the above. Someone who does not know what something takes, cannot appreciate it. You will find yourself spending your precious time to achieve your tasks in the best possible way, and in return, your work will pass unnoticed.

“Never ever seek for gratefulness from mankind, you shall always see ungratefulness. Do what you must do as a solemn duty and that is what you have to do!”
- Ernest Agyemang Yeboah

 4  - STUBBORNNESS

Absolutely the worst of the five sins. To be ignorant and willing to learn is a good thing, we all learn new things all the time. But to be ignorant and stubborn and way beyond any adjective. It's the ultimate form of arrogance. So don't try to advice these people, their ideas are already made, save your efforts.

5 - Calculating

Yes, everything is thought of in advance. They think of themselves and their benefits first and foremost. And you are there to make them money.
To them,  there is a tactic for everything, they see themselves as if the whole world is trying to screw them off, and you know why ? because they screw people off all the time.
This is the red flag and a general rule. Never befriend, work for, or hang out with the calculating type.

Take care folks, and learn to walk away when your gut feeling is telling you so.
