Now let's be honest here broke people seem to know everything about anything that's going on in everyone's life but also about life generally. They are masters of love, psychology, politics, finances etc. just ask them and they'll enlighten you with their stream of knowledge. These are the people that you'll usually find talking the most in a conversation or room.
.
Broke people don't ever want to listen to what someone else has to say because they believe they know better than you do. Broke doesn't necessarily mean financially but I mean broke in knowledge. Just because they have some basic knowledge about a topic then that is good enough for them and there ain't nothing else you can teach them but they'll gladly teach you.
.
Ever had of the saying 'the loudest one in the room is the weakest one'? Well, that is true in this case. If you feel that you lack knowledge at a certain department take advice from someone you know is more knowledgeable. Your friend who is in the same position as you financially is probably not someone you should be taking advice from.
I remember back in High School there was always this kid who loved giving tips and bragging about their knowledge on the subject of the upcoming exam. They would be all hyped up about this knowledge they have that they didn't take the time to listen to the knowledge they don't have. This person would laugh proudly pointing out what the other people don't know and that they are doomed to failure. Guess what happened after the exam, - he got one of the lowest grades. While he was busy preaching knowledge, the people who were listening got more knowledge they didn't have before and that propelled them to get better grades than they would've otherwise.
Sharing knowledge is not a bad thing, actually, it is of vital importance that knowledge is shared for society to evolve and progress. The problem starts when you get cocky and fail to realize that other people might know something else that you don't. It is not that broke people don't know anything but it is simply the fact that they over-estimate the value and extent of their knowledge.
The moral of the story here is that people need to listen more and take the time to educate themselves further than where they are at the moment. What works today will not necessarily work tomorrow and if you don't further educate yourself you will get left behind.
Well stated.
"Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt." ~ Unknown
Reminds you of those quizzes you use to take in school that stated to read the instructions carefully before proceeding and the last step would instruct you not to take the exam.
