@songbird welcome! Glad you solved your problems. Love to have people like you on Steemit. Love meditation and all that stuff. Did you ever tried sungazing? Here is link with my experience. https://steemit.com/sungazing/@cmoljoe/my-experiences-with-sungazing
thanks for reading @cmoljoe improvement is a continual work in process :) I didn't realize sun gazing was a practice until now. I sometimes do this in the fall and winter when the days are cold and the sun only comes out every few days. I will try this evening with the setting sun :) Namaste.
Watch 10 seconds in last 10 minutes of sunset. You will love it.
I loved it :) Did some sungazing for the last 2 evenings.
2nd day 20 seconds? I forget to write, you need to close your eyes after gazing, so your eyes can adjust to lower level of light. Sorry for my english, I hope you understand what am I writing. Similar when your enter dark room from sunny weather full of light, at first you can't see anything in that room for few seconds.
thanks @cmoljoe I tried with my eyes only slightly open and it works for me. I just close my eyes when it becomes too bright.
Don't watch when is too bright for you. Watch with fully open eyes, if you can't do that then it is to bright for you in that moment. Wait moment when you can watch with fully opened eyes, just before sunset when you begin. After while your eye bild up and can see more brighter light. I also coudn't watch it 45 minutes from sunset in beginings, but after while I could.
