The Truth Destroyed Me

in #philosophy8 years ago

You can know too much.

It is crippling if you're not out to exploit your knowledge.

Without some form of spiritual development, you will be left at an intellectual conundrum at every turn in your life.

Gnosis will free you from much concern, but create a whole new plane of problems.

The question becomes how honest with yourself are you, and how much courage do you possess?

If you have access to great knowledge, but do nothing with it, you are declaring to your very own soul that you are a coward.

Add on top of that the fact that the vast majority of folks that you generally associate with simply do not have the time, energy, capacity or resources to detach from the mountain of lies they've been taught from the very beginning- so your path to truth and freedom may often be lonely.

It certainly doesn't have to be but is has been for me.

I don't know the solution.

I do know that to progress through life in any significant way, one must be brave.

Because the killer of goodness is complacency.

And the culture creators are doing everything in their power to keep you and me complacent.

Don't let the good in you die with stagnancy.

And if you feel anger towards the subversion taking place, do not direct it towards your friends in family.

They only want love from you.

It took me a long time to realize this.

Truth is not something that can be asserted into someones comprehension.

They must come to it on their own accord.

Fix yourself and you will make a tremendous impact on the world.

Force words on people without self-knowledge and they will resent you.

It is very simple, and extremely challenging at the same time.

The is the very nature of the paradox of our life.

It can be no other way.
