One of my favorite philosopher, Aristotle, once said: "humans are by nature social animals." We do tend to find common groups with people with which we share the same traits and interests.
Although, there are different factors that motivate art and creativity across different fields but today I'm going to be taking a close look at loneliness and how it sparks creativity.
Loneliness is a complex emotion that also comes in different forms.
There is the isolation type of loneliness in which someone barely interacts with people or surroundings.
There is another type of loneliness which is more common, whereby someone is surrounded by people, even friends, and family but still feel some loneliness.
People deal with loneliness in different ways, some people have embraced their loneliness to the point that they barely feel alone anymore, for example, introverts actually cherish their alone times.
Taking a deep look at a complex emotion such as loneliness and trying to understand other ways in which people deal with it. I came to a conclusion that Art and creativity can also be a way of dealing with loneliness.
There is a phenomenon which says that most artists and creatives are introverts, this is another link to my point, but I believe that even people that love being alone also find other ways to connect with people not just on a social surface but on a deeper level.
People create art for different reasons but one of the fundamental reasons is the need to be understood and to gain deep connections with people.
There is a reason why artists and creatives often put easter eggs, secret messages, and meanings in their artworks, it gives them a rush when people actually decode or understand them through their works.
If the goal of socializing is to gain a connection with people then I believe Introverts have actually found a bigger way to connect with a vast majority of people through ART.
I also believe that art is a way of dealing with loneliness that's why a lot of artists in their different crafts(writing, music, painting, etc.) have introverted personality traits.
Maybe there is no one way to define social norms and interactions and those artists that are considered introverts are actually extroverts on a different and larger scale.
What do you think about this? feel free to tell me in the comments.

Hmm.. never tried DMT... I am rather fascinated by it, though. A rather intelligent woman I once knew told me that one time she took it (smoked), "Next thing I knew, I was on a dance floor in a grand ballroom, dancing with a tall, well-dressed man; yet, I could not see his face. And every time I tried to look at it, he would turn away 'just so' I could never discover it. We just danced, twirling in circles, around and around. And as fast as it set in, it was over." Seemed very intense, and intriguing... LSD is nothing like that lol. Imo, anyone who says they've :seen little green martians running around" or some shit like that is full of shit--
I enjoyed listening to this, very interesting thoughts. we should embrace our individuality
