Bettas has their own personality, not like those common guppies or molly fish in the big tanks. They're intelligent. It is exactly like having a dog or cat kind of pet, not a swimming/pacing, common movements of other fish. They love to lay on aquatic plants or anything they rest on.
Don't overfeed them,clean their tanks.
Bettas are carnivores. They prefer to feed on insect larvae, worms, fish pellet and flakes. They also feed on eggs of insects occasionally.
You must be careful if you handle your betta fish as they have a slime coating over their scales. Any soaps, detergents/general human use chemicals that could be on your hand can damage this coating – which protects them from infections.
