HOW ARE YOU GUYS???

When I’m having troubles and I can’t compose or continue the poems that I’ve already started, most of the times I watch movies, play games and check out my old pictures. Like everyone just to refresh and unwind.

This time while I’m browsing my album posted in the internet, I saw this picture captured when we were young and active,, hehehe

So to give you guys some idea on what a native guy from Bulacan loves to do in summer.

Here it is..

After harvesting crops mainly “PALAY” in my Province of (Pulilan Bulacan, Philippines). The people started to held events like Basketball, Volleyball and Softball. Every time they held a competition commonly known in our village/barrio as “LIGA” means the event for basketball tournament. It’s not a question if we will be joining or not, because if we will missed it, it seems like our vacation is not complete.

Being a varsity player in our High school basketball team, St. Dominic Academy Pulilan, Bulacan. I think that me and my cousins have some advantage in terms of practice and basic knowledge of the game. Because of that we won the tournament 4 times in a row.

Before the game starts there will be a parade passing through the whole barangay so it takes around 30 to 45 minutes.

Parade is another story, we have lots of bonding moments during parade.

Happiness overcomes the burden and fatigue of walking.
While walking it’s not only us players, even our family members relatives join us in this parade, but they are inside their cars or motorcycle.. hehehe

Even “INA” watches our parade. I’m sure some of you reading this blog right now knows who is “INA”

After the parade the program will start by having a short prayer.

there will be a contest for best uniform and best muse. Luckily we are the winner for both categories. hehe

And the game will start after the Mass. around 8 pm. Yes night time.
The reason why because it is hot during noon time and most of the players are at work.

And like my "LODI" -Michael Jordan- said Talents win games, but Teamwork and Intelligence wins championship.

We share the ball and Defense is the best Offense.

Everyone is exhausted tired and grasping for air.

But when that buzzer sounds, there will be one winner. We gave our very best until the very end of the game.

We won the game Final game. We came home with a smile in our face but the winner is not us players

but the people supporting us the "Mirons" we call them.

When we are fighting for the V inside the court, they are the supporting cast shouting and cheering outside the court.

Normaly due to the intense game, even the "Mirons" are fighting and teasing hehehe maybe some of you guys can relate.,

It's time to go home now. In my own experience, it is hard to sleep at night if your team is the looser that night.

And the lesson I've learned is that it keeps me motivated not only inside the court but also out side, in the world that we have, were there will be no over time.

Follow your coach who is your parents,

Never listen and get intimidated on the people watching you, teasing you like the "Mirons" of the opponents because they are your trials, You can go through problems and difficulties, but never stay on that situation,

Adopt new skills and learn from your previous errors.

so we need to put our 101% to get that sweetest V before your buzzer sounds.
