Depression...It’s the world’s #1 cause of disability.

Over 300 million people around the globe suffer from depression. Of 20 people you know, one may have depression and five may have its symptoms.

See the signs:

§ Muscle pains, fatigue and frequent sickness
§ Loss of appetite and weight
§ Difficulty sleeping
§ Worthlessness
§ Hopelessness
§ Suicidal thoughts
§ Withdrawal from others /social activity
§ Lack of concentration and productivity
§ Alcoholism
§ Overwhelmed and irritable
§ Indecisive and lacks confidence
§ Discontent and frustrated

Don’t let them fall apart. You can:

  1. Start the conversation.
  2. Listen without judgement.
  3. Do something together.
  4. Encourage them to get help.

There is hope. There is a cure. Depression can be treated, especially if detected/diagnose and addressed earlier.
