A story of love and compassion❤️He is an IDP from Marawi who is sheltered at Brgy.Tambo, today when we went to Brgy.Lininding to deliver goods facilitated by CSO friends, he joined us.When we were about to take off from Brgy.Udalo, it was agreed that goods be delivered by batch because transpo is really difficult, goods need to be brought there through "koda" or individuals will have to bring the goods to reach the survivors of Typhoon Vinta. So, he went on with other volunteers and brought the "balde" with hygiene kits. This guy walked for more than 2.5 hours just to deliver what can help the affected families. He never complained instead, he felt grateful of being able to help.He proved that being displaced because of crisis cannot hamper one's willingness to help others who are also in need of help.He was once given help, today,he has extended help to his fellows.Alhamdulillah for people who always show love and compassion despite life's adversities that they once went through.❤️😇

Thanks for sharing how it looks in Marawi @khuzymaranda. Good to know that IDP's are able to go back to the city now. It was a labor of love indeed to travel 2.5 hrs by foot to bring goods back to Marawi. <3
For those who don't know, IDP means internally displaced person :)
CSO means Community social organizations.
