LOOKING FOR VOTES FROM VENEZUELA, FOR THE PHILIPPINES, PLAY IT

in #philippines7 years ago

To be sure, nobody knows where it originated, it is said that it was in the barrios of Caracas as an alternative to kill boredom; some say it was by chance, like the other disciplines.
Over the years it has become the Creole youth, a symbol of life in the cities and towns of Venezuela, what we know as the game of chapita. It's a fun way every evening and on weekends.

Sports equipment used for the game of chapita:

  • Ball: It is the plate of the beer bottles
  • Bat: Sweep brush stick

It is practical, in a clear street of minimum or zero vehicle traffic, or in a field, it has no age limits, it is usually played by all ages and genders, it is very appropriate for play it among friends. The badge is directly inspired by baseball, as there are many terms, name of the positions of the players and game time. There are certain differences in the rules that make it unique.

The rules of the game:

  • Two teams must be played
  • One or more players per team, (naturally, two per team)
  • It's played three inning. or as agreed between players (naturally three are played, since there will always be more than two teams, the loser leaves, and then the winner plays with the team that is waiting)
  • Two outs are played per inning or according to agreement between players. (do not forget that there will always be teams waiting)
  • Strike: If the batter fails to make Swing.
  • Foul: Batazo out of the legal zone, just like baseball counts for the Strike the foul
  • Out: If the batter fails to make Swing and the Cacher catches the sheet without dropping it. If the sheet is hit and caught in the air it is Out and three Strike is out.
  • Good zone: The Hit zone is delimited, this would be between first, third base, pitching point and Home or plate.
  • If the sheet falls in a good area, it is a Hit and at the same time there is an imaginary man on base. Note here nobody runs base on base
  • If the sheet falls after the hit area that will be a Home Run, a race is scored and if there is a man on base they also score a run.
  • Win the team that has scored the most races.

The losing team picks up the scattered plates.

A magnet is used to collect the plates.

Bag with badges, enough to play a whole afternoon, since the one that is hit is usually discarded.

The majority of the baseball players of our country, at some point played Chapita and although they do not create it, some have experience in the baseball thanks to this traditional game. Which is considered a factory of great players, with this game sharpens the view to the ball and the perfect calculation to hit. It is not easy to hit the plate with the broomstick.
Although it has no official representation in the sports world of our country, even as an association, the game of Chapitas is still alive in our quiet streets and neighborhoods. It is idiosyncrasy and urban symbol of the Venezuelan

Each Cacher, Batsman and Picher have their style

Sheet after being hit.

I ask that it be taken as a sport, and there are leagues from Chapita, so perhaps in the future why not see it in an Olympiad

I invite you to play Chapita, I confess that it is super fun.
