Usapang Steemit nina Diding at Didang : Food Post (with English translation)

Diding : "Didang, please teach me how to make a food post in Steemit?"

Didang: " There are many ways people do that. One is by writing about which fruit is in season where we are at the moment. Take pics of them and tell them about the health benefits that you know of about them."

Diding : "Sounds like a lot of work ..."

a2.png

Didang: " Well, you can also eat out and bombard the Steemians with the pics of the food you had and tell us what each tastes like. Some even describe the texture of the food. Makes my anacondas in the tummy go on strike asking for food while am reading such posts."

Diding : "Sounds like I will have to spend much. Is there anything that's ... less spendthrift than posting about eating out?"

Didang: " There is .. cook a dish, yourself. Then show them the ingredients and provide a walk through with pics and write the walk through as if you're teaching a child how to cook because not every Steemian is an honor student and keep it simple."

a3.png

Diding : "Uhmmm.. but everyone's already doing that - how can I make them check out my food post?"

Didang: "True blue . You might want to add something that would leave an impression to whoever gets to read it and make them remember you. "

Diding: "But how?"

Didang: " Be creative .. perhaps you can make your presentation look different . Make your own background and add some art like this one which I made on a memo pad of my Samsung Galaxy Note 1."

Diding : " How come some food posts have this paper on their pics that says Steemit + date + their account name here.?

Didang : " Oh yeah, I forgot that you're a newbie. We do need that because you're just starting to build your rep. Plus make sure your recipe is your own or if it has been passed on mention that. It's better if your recipe is all original and have never been published or exclusively for Steemit only. If I were you I'd pay @woman-onthe-wing's page a visit and join the Steemit Culinary Challenge .

a5.png

Diding: "Then .. this will make me spend more.."

Didang: " What do you mean? I've seen some even posted how to cook rice - that ain't expensive ey?"

Diding: "..because .. to be able to cook I will have to take cooking classes."

Didang : " Hu..waaaat? Ya can't cook? Then don't hurry tying the knot because your husband might send you back to your parents - remember no return no exchange!"

Thanks for the English translation! This looks awesome!

That was a nice conversation. :D

Hahaha! I had a great time reading this funny conversation @englishtchrivy! Between the funny lines, there's a lot of truth and take aways for the foodies to make it here on steemit!
Joining in contest is really a great way to make some name and money too, i am a usual SCC contestant and have won a couple of rounds too!
Now i've launched a cooking contest too called : Steemit Iron Chef , who's aim is to boost the original food content authors.
Would be great to have your views on it.

And that is how it is done! :) Nice and unique presentation of your food, it made me laugh! BTW, the dish looks good! Great stating image.

thank you
but surely there are many ways to do it
some even post videos but these were the only things I did and that worked for me thats why I wrote it so

Medyo mahirap pero worth it to kapag nagawa, ang Sarap!!!

Your presentation for this food post is very different, sure! I like this funny way to introduce a recipe :D

I left you a message in the chat though
if you have left me a message am afraid I might not be able to read it
I cant get in the chat for 2 consecutive days already
something is very very wrong with Steemit chat these days
or is it just in my end?

I saw your message. yes, there is something wrong in that chat during the two days, I have met the problem, such as don't see message or send message sometime.
so, I reply only in here. :) needn't go there.

natuwa ako dito. This is a fun way to showcase your recipe.

I was so amused reading the Diding and Didang talk that I flew over the recipe. Had to turn back!!

You pointed one of my 'worries' theses days. I want to start again to post my SundayCook recipes (in a couple of weeks) but not sure how it will be received among the community! Maybe I will need a new format...I must start thinking on it!

Great work :)

just post it ;)
you're good at what you do
so just post it :)
worry not!
