#862 - Pagudpud Shots for Sunday.
Happy Sabbath evening dearest Hiveans. Hope all is well out there wherever you are in the world. Early today, as usual, already a practice for us, my wife and I went out for a six kilometers of walk in the university nearby. Then after almost two hours of brisk walking we went to a McDonald's for a breakfast meal then went home. In the afternoon time, my wife and I also went out to meet with some gay friends over dinner. This month is my wife's birthday when we went to a hike last week. But she has also had to meet with her other friends for dinner. We ate at an eat all you can and was full to the stomach. I didn't ate rice at all just viands and other stuff😅. I was not expecting to eat a lot today and I just wanted to stay home and just watch Netflix but sometimes we need to go out and talk to other people and socialize for a bit which is a part of being healthy I guess.
Moving now to our daily shots, we took this photos when we went to Pagudpud and spent a couple of nights at Villa Izakaya which is owned by a Filipina and her Japanese husband. We were the only guest they have because perhaps it's on a weekday that we stayed there. They have atleast four rooms good enough to accommodate atleast four people per room. Right at the back before reaching the beach sands rose this huge red torrid which I believe serves as a boundary of sacred and something. It's common to Japanese people so that's the reason they have one here on the back of their property.
We were given one of the rooms they have upstairs, the house with nipas as roof is like a duplex. The stairs is on the side without going inside the room on the ground floor. The place is full of different plants and they also have koi pond but it's not koi that are swimming, it's a lot of tilapia fish😄.
The scene is calm and quiet. It's definitely a relaxing feeling staying at this kind of place where peace of mind is felt. You can only hear the wind and birds and definitely lots of insects singing in the branches of trees.
There's also serenity by the shore, we have observed tiny little crabs and other insects crawl on the sands. The scene at first is kinda strange because we got used to a lot of noises in the metro but eventually appreciated the kind of quiet which most people desires.
As the sun crawls to dip towards the horizon, me, the wife, a friend and son found ourselves by the beach, the white sand crunching softly beneath our feet. The late afternoon light cast a warm, honeyed glow over the scene, bathing everything in a soft, ethereal light.
The beach, a wide expanse of sand and sea, stretched out before us, a testament to the beauty and power of nature. The waves, their frothy crests glinting in the sunlight, rolled in towards the shore, their rhythmic crash a soothing backdrop to the scene.
Follow me on my nature travels.
