Tying the knot . . .

in #philippibes7 years ago (edited)

Yesterday, I witnessed my friend sealed their love by tying the knot finally after 4 long years of being bf and gf they decided to close that chapter and begin another chapter of being one.

Even if the weather was not suited for the occassion but they took it positively that it rained because it was a blessing.

A special event shared with family and friends.

It was a moment where you could feel love is in the air. Especially when the bride started to walk down the isle you could see that her smile was as genuine as her love for the groom who waited for her at the altar. No signs of regret or worries for the future.

When they started to exchange their vows, I quoted this from the groom " dili man nako mahatag ang adlaw, apan panggaon tikaw adlaw-adlaw" (I can't give you the sun (day) but I will love you everyday.")

I was so touched by the words uttered in bisaya to fully express his love to the bride and in return the bride quoted from the bible " and the two will become one flesh.’ So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let man not separate.” Mark10:8-9

After the ceremony there was the tradituinal Money dance, trivias about the couple, games, cakes and waines and to complete it all was the awesome 50 shots of fireworks.

It was indeed a great celebration of 2 become 1.
