Making.
A nest. Filled with joy.
Roses spiraling. Remember your life.
Of unfurling beauty. It's just a breath away. A breath away.

RosesOpenWeekend.

I've been really admiring all the superb images of roses in RosesOpenWeekend in the 4th week of the Petals Contests and so it gives me a lot of pleasure to share these images of one of my ephemeral art pieces that featured the most exquisite roses: With their outer petals tinged with green and their inner petals a deep brilliant magenta rose.

A Spiral of Roses.

Adding to the Spiral.

To harmonize with the roses: Some tiny pink raphiolepis flowers with dried green hydrangeas and soft moss green native grasses.

I hope you can sense the joy I feel when making and decorating these 'nests' of roses?

The same 'nest' was used for several different arrangements: Gathering ideas for new work in drawing and painting, digital manipulation and mixed media.

A special surprise awaits the first person who can tell me how many roses, including the bud were in the spiral.

My next article for @Petals will be for PinkFlowersDay where I'll describe:

  • How the nest was made.
  • And how I used the images to create my new Cover Image and Profile Image.

Beautiful arrangement as always @allyinspirit I think I count 16 roses but there might be one more. It's difficult to see. 😊

🙏 Congratulations you have my 100% upvote Gillian. 🙏

Really pleased you like this arrangement.

You are the closest, seeing 16 roses including the bud, but suspecting that there might be another.

There's just the tip of a rose at the very start of the spiral. Look closely between the 'l' and the 'M' at the bottom of Magical Moments in this image.

Thank you @allyinspririt. I appreciate it! Have a wonder full day. 💙

Pleasure. I always appreciate your genuineness. 🦋

Well that's nice to know @allyinspirit. I often feel I spend too much time moaning! #😊

I thought it was a nest of metal wire. At first glance. :) I think there are sixteen roses. An exceptional solution and combination. The arrangement of flowers and nest is wonderful.
The nest always causes a sense of joy and happiness. Nobody can be indifferent. Thanks, @allyinspirit for sharing, this inspired and motivated.

🙏 Congratulations you also have my 100% upvote @zoricatech. 🙏

YES. There's something about seeing a nest and experiencing an innate sense of 'homecoming' and peace and deep happiness. So pleased you feel this as well.

I've made many 'nests' as plant containers but slightly sturdier ones, made from paperbark and twigs. They gave me a lot of joy to make and then give away as presents.

I documented them: Unfortunately not with my current camera but it may be good to share them sometime.

This nest was made of Spanish Moss, that had been left, by mistake, soaking in a bucket of water.

When I discovered it, I thought all I could do was compost it. But then teasing it out it could be molded into a glass bowl to become a more delicate 'nest.' You can see the aqua blue rim of the bowl in the top image.

16 roses including the bud, was close. There was actually another, as explained in my answer to @gillianpearce ~ And more than likely there was another again bringing it to 18, as I like to work with numbers like 12, 9, 6 and 3 OR 3, 5, 8, 13, 21 etc. In this case it was probably 12 + 6 = 18. 😊

Thank you @allyinspirit. Nice to have explained in detail the process of building the nest.
I love binary numbers. :) The magnificent and mysterious numbers 3, 6, 9 are a great challenge and obsession. Especially number 3. Fibonacci numbers in nature and everywhere around us.
In your works, everything is composed and consistent. I enjoy watching your creative and wonderful works.

Thank you once again @zoricatech. Isn't it wonderful that so many of us number lovers, crystal lovers, nature lovers, creativity lovers and life lovers are connecting. 🙏

How absolutely exquisite, Ally! And yes, I can feel your joy - and your reverence :)

Thanks so much Jay. Always grateful for your visits and appreciation. Will catch up with you again soon too.

Today I rediscovered Carnelian through @sunscape's CARNELIAN “Power Stone for Confidence and Action" and have a feeling for using the raw Carnelian pieces I have in an arrangement. Also have the feeling for making a new nest. So will see what comes out of the merger. 🦋

MAGICAL MOMENTS nest.png

I shall look out for the results of your Carnelian experiment! <3

such a beautiful spiral of roses!!! Your pics are always really nice and sweet, I love your style! ^_^

Thanks ever so much Silvia. I have a love for spirals and making spirals. Was fun to make this nest and then add a spiral to it. 🦋

MAGICAL MOMENTS nest.png

I counted 13 beautiful roses. Am I right?

There are actually 17 including the bud ~ The last one was very well hidden. See my reply to @zoricatech for the finer details. But I really appreciate your tuning into the article @laputis. 🦋

What a lovely Spiral of Roses! Congrats my friend!

Thanks so much Ginga. I made a few different arrangements using the same 'nest.' But I think this spiral one is my favourite. So glad you like it.
