So along me post divorce journey, I met my partner and he introduced me to lots of new things. Some I knew already, and some that blew my mind.
He introduced me to the basics of NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming). This is something that I truly believe everyone should look into, it gives you a way at looking at your life and making positive language choices to influence it in the direction you wish to achieve.
We also made a decision to treat our bodies better and feed them with stuff that actually benefits us. We chose to eat organic, and GMO free whenever possible. We try to eliminate dairy and red meat. This decision has changed our lives. I haven't had any illnesses in over a year. I used to have chronic migraines and know the are very rare. I had a skin condition that has improved to almost being cured. I lost 35 pounds and have gained so much energy.
As part of this decision, we also are planting our own vegetables in an effort to be more self sustained.
I'm 39 years old, and I feel better then I did 10 years ago. I'm so happy that I have made these changes. I thought they might be difficult, but it wasn't. Maybe the key is a supportive partner, maybe it's the loss if a verbally abusive realtionship. Maybe it's both. All I know is that I feel better and want to share it with everyone I come in contact with.
The next thing we are trying to do is expand our friendships to people who match our world veiws and can help us grow. We want to travel and make new friends all over the world!

I'm in a slump myself snd it gives me hope hearing you say you feel better at 39 then 29. Keep up the posting!
Best thing about a slump, is there is always an upside. Cheap advice I know, but it's true. Try to visualize where you want to be, then
