The number may be much smaller than that. Think about how many people out there actually know about cryptocurrencies? Then think about the number of people who actually own Bitcoin. Then think about the number of people who actually own a crypto other than Bitcoin. We are VERY early in the cryptocurrency revolution. so there are around 1.34% of people who know about steem.

it take time to know, personaly i am looking on top 10 crypto, and i observed it.
after 3 days of big up ,i decided to know more about.
I am just thrilled to imagine what the full potential of Steem will look like. As you said, if Cryptocurrency is like the Internet in 1993 or 1994, then what will happen when it will reach the 2016 level!!!
