They reward you for steps above 5000 and 10000, be consistent and you will get enough sp coming in to gradually build up. You can also check for some delegation contests , as I have not checked your content though I can only say they tend to require more longform content.

I would invest a little money in purchasing some SP if possible. I think by making genuine comments and getting to know some people here you SP will come along.
