Let's Chat About Peerhub
You may have seen @steemrollin's post on the trending page last week announcing Peerhub: Bringing Steem Beyond Social Networks To The New Economy! If you didn't see it, you can read the post here.
The Peerhub marketplace will now be focused around Steem dollars and the Steemit community. Just like Craigslist you can post listings for Goods, Services and Housing.
You may have also seen @mariandavp 's post "Steem, my love! - call to all artists to embrace Steem by @mariandavp".
She very eloquently stated:
"But what is the value of any currency if not its purchasing power? Initiatives like this enhance the marketability of Steem and the longevity of our community. They also bridge the time gap from today until cryptos in general become a part of the life of a wider audience – that is until they become pop."
She also posted her first item on Peerhub:
I can't tell you how excited I am for the potential of Peerhub. Together, we have the chance to create something big here. The community that is using Steem will only grow stronger with more diversification. Let's create our self-sustaining ecosystem here, today.
Let’s build this New Economy together. The Economy for You and Me!
Peerhub Community Contest
I'm very excited to take the lead role in growth and community outreach. I will be posting newly listed items in the marketplace weekly and that should help you advertise your products to a wider audience! Peerhub is live in beta so please sign up and list some items!
Now Let’s Have Some Fun With The First Peerhub Contest Raffle!
We’ll have our first ever raffle contest for a total of $300 in Steem dollar prizes! If you post a listing on Peerhub or if you reblog this post, you can earn raffle tickets to win Steem dollar prizes!

- You get one raffle ticket entry for each unique listing
- You must add your Steem username in your Peerhub profile section so we know where to send you Steem$

- One unique winner for each place
Both raffles expire at 11pm ET Tuesday on September 27th. We’ll make the final determination of all qualifications and rules are subject to change for unintentional errors and omissions. I will announce the winners of the contest this week.
This is great @anwenbaumeister, and we're super excited to exchange SBD for real, tangible goods. This is the revolution!!! We just listed our herbal smoking blends and handmade, fully custom Steemit Ts! Thanks to @steemrollin for bringing Peerhub to our awareness.
I'm so glad you guys are on Peerhub! You have beautiful items to offer, I'm super excited to receive your herbal smoking blends in the mail :-)
And please check out my listing for Cost Benefit Jr. - I'm not just selling one book; I have an inventory! (I'm the author.) How do I enter my listing in the raffle?
Yes you're in the raffle for your one listing, but you can list a few more to get additional raffle ticket entries!
Does that mean that if one gets "filled" that the listing expires? If so, yes, it would be a good idea to list a few of them.
Oh sorry I thought you had more than one title...
But yeah if you want to list your inventory you can copy the post a few times, but make sure the title is the same and it will only display once in the gallery view. Thanks!
Awesome post - I hope it will sell on Peerhub as well! You're submitted in the raffle :-)
Yes!
How awesome!
It is up to us to build the new world, with a new economy!
I have been building a new world for 15 years and achieved much! So grateful to be a part of this community with other cutting edge beings.
I have made sure to list REAL tangible goods available for Steem$ on PeerHub to support the movement!
Excited to see the results. Check out the listings here. https://www.peerhub.com/items/6888-epic-shreds-steemit-t
Your shirt is awesome and your work is awesome as well!
Thanks so much for participating in the new economy and for building it here :-)
Thank you!
Your support means especially a lot as you are an important being in this community.
I feel really good about the work that I do and the standards I live by, but it is nice to be appreciated and supported for it. Most of the world doesn't care much about the revolutionary standards I live by and the world I have created based upon them.
I hope to get to know you better. Thanks again for your support and all you do to build this community!
Blessings~*~
I'm glad to let you know that your is post listed in the The #usesteem billboard - rev 001.
Thanks for helping spread the #usesteem cause!

Great opportunity to strenghten Steem. I have resteemed.
Thanks so much! You're in the raffle :-)
I resteemed and going to tag a few of my friends on Steemit. I personally don't have anything to sell yet...not quite ready to put any of my art on the market...but I'll have to check out PeerHub because I do offer front-end web design catered to indy creatives, and I also have a short novella that needs new life on another platform.
tagging: @phoenixmaid @opheliafu @poeticsnake @edgarsart There are more but I've already got so many tabs open! :)
Feel free to list your front-end web design! Doesn't have to be perfect, but you'll qualify for the contest!
Thank you! I've already created an account. Now I need to get my sh*t in order :)
That's awesome @merej99! Btw I loved your post today it gave me a good laugh.
I look forward to seeing your items or services on Peerhub.
Thanks @anwenbaumeister! Sometimes we just have to laugh at ourselves :)
Do you have any idea when PeerHub might add more categories? I placed a small ad for front-end web design but wasn't sure if the category it's listed under was appropriate.
Resteemed the post that was linked. That is an absolutely gorgeous painting
Thanks so much for your support! You're in the raffle. Yes it is a beautiful painting :-)
Amazing news! Also thanks for using the #usesteem tag! it is gradually getting more posts https://steemit.com/active/usesteem
Best wishes for the contest, people shows appreciation for your hardwork building this marketplace!

Thanks so much! It's a great tag :-)
Hey @anwenbaumeister! Quick question. Is peerhub an intercontinental project or is it mainly for people in the states?
The reason I ask, is because I live in Chile and it could potentially be very spendy to ship a piece of art to another country, or continent, for that matter.
Is there a way to search for items for sale in a single country?
Thanks for the question @rigaronib! We'll add the local functionality for all the International audience hopefully soon. We'll have to find the best way to do this, but in the beginning Local will probably show items in your country if outside the US and will be within 50/80 miles if in the US. That will be the default and we'll probably let users adjust their local parameters in their profile settings. Hope that helps!
Thanks SO much @steemrollin! That helps immensely! I will definitely be watching for the feature. The marketplace is such a fantastic idea and I want to be a part!
Sounds great. Will let you know and thanks for the support!
Challenge accepted! I just posted two new women's fashion items from a brand I'm helping to launch:
– Peanut leather tote bag
– Midnight blue envelope clutch
Fantastic! Looks elegant and like the brand logo!
Thanks! It's actually my girlfriend's brand, so I'll let her know!
Wow, those are beautiful! Thanks for posting!
I am generally "meh" on listing items on CL due to no-shows and sketchballs. Ebay got me burned...cannot be bothered...this is novel and fun, I'd prefer steam dollars all day. I'm on this!
That's awesome to hear! I think I mentioned Peerhub at San Diego, as a sneak peak right before it launched with accepting SD :-)
here is my listing : https://www.peerhub.com/items/6893
Awesome! Thanks for posting on Peerhub, you are submitted into the raffle.
Thank you very much for the reference @anwenbaumeister , although I feel a bit shy (and grateful of course) seeing my item in your post as I wrote this article to highlight our common interest, not mine! But what can I say about you, you are a Steem Maskuteer! All for one and one for all 💪❤
Your words are powerful! As is your art :-)
You were referenced again here: https://steemit.com/steemit/@ricardoguthrie/introducing-yaadio-handmade-to-the-steemit-community

Nice initiative. this was something that was overdue!! thanks for creating that platform I hope you for the best !!
If you need any help figuring out the site you can message me at steemit.chat @anwenbaumeister :-)

These are awesome!!! I'll have to get one for myself. The So many blogs so little time rings true for me ;-)
Thanks for posting on Peerhub!
I posted a collector's edition of The Last Story for Wii last week, ad is still up. I believe my username is eoinc, I'll have to check later.
Is that enough for entry?
Edit: My item
