Outdoor Pond

Happy and blessed Monday and also the beginning of the month of November to all of you members of hive.blog, today as every week I have to do maintenance to the pond that my husband created in the backyard of the house because we both love fish and keeping them is an activity that we do together and we have fun.

We started with 7 guppy fish of different colors two years ago and now we have about 400 or 500 fish of all sizes and some are faster than others.

We have battled with many other animals that come to eat them such as cats, toads and even birds of various kinds that hunt them so we always have to be aware of them, but as a plan b my husband got some river lilies that spread through the water and make it difficult to see them.

I managed to get several fish to show them but I assure you that it was not easy, it was several hours of trying because they are very fast and it was even more difficult to get one of each color, there was one that I could not get it out, it is a fluorescent orange but it is very agile and not even because I threw them food, almost all of them came out to eat except that one only came out if I moved away from the pond when I saw them close again they went back to hide.

Then we began to clean it since they fill of many leaves and the lilies were nicknamed that had a variety of yellow leaves, as part of decoration to the surroundings stones were placed and several types of bushes like ixoras and dwarf bamboo were planted once all clean the fish were fed and we left them calm and we had shaken them a lot trying to take them out for the photo.
