Splinterlands Investing #001

Its been a couple weeks since i made a post so im writing about what i've been doing in splinterlands lately.

First ill talk about the recent land cards that came out. I did buy up a bunch of Soul Keep packs before everybody else got to them. They were cheap .22$ each. Was hopping to get a GFL but that didn't happen. I actually lost money on that. Thats ok they all got burned for cinder. I was ready when the land cards dropped and i bought what was allocated to me. Because i was prepared on the Tireless Farmhand i managed to get 112 copies. I aimed for this number so i could have 8 level 3 cards. So i get the free power core for my grain farms. Currently using 7 of those level 3s on land. The last 14 are uncombined sitting in my wallet. Don't know if i want to sell them or not. Might want that extra free power core in the future. Maybe if the price is right. I got a total of 15 of Kinbound Druid, the rare card. I bought the allocation then an additional 8 so totaling 10. My plan is to use these. I'm only using 1 at the moment at level 2, again for the free power core. I did buy 5 more a few days later. Sold those for 2-3$ profit each and am happy with it. I do plan on holding the majority that i bought for the long term as i plan i playing the land game for awhile, years.

I have been buying land. A bunch of grain farms came up for sale for about 14$ each. I bought them and later powered them up with the new land cards. I rent my worker at the moment because its cost effective. I am still running at a negative because of my to research plots. I bought a rare research plot in 85 where i already had one running for months. The plan is to take the rare and make it produce aura. Im up to 8.5k research and should be able to do it by the end of the year. Pretty excited about this. To be able to produce items in the game. I accidently bought a different research rare plot. I thought it was in a different region. So i probably be sitting on that for awhile. Was thinking of maybe just running it at a loss for some months to turn it into an aura producer and sell it after that.

This next part people might not agree with. But just a reminder im putting funds into splinterlands and reinvesting almost everything i earn. Im botting my main account and 6 others. Im using both xbot and archmage. Basically where im at now is renting cards for gold level and let the accounts stay in that range. If i rent enough SPS they earn a good amount of glint per win. I use the glint for legendary reward cards, unlock them and sell them on the market. Use the funds to continue operations and buying cards plus land. I am not trying to extract but to reinvest it back into the game. Its somewhat profitable. I still haven't won in the raffle but there is always that small chance. I have received one GFL and sold that $35. Allowed me to run an entire season with that money for all the accounts plus some. All the SPS i earn going forward is going to be saved to buy the next mini set, enough for silver. My plan is when the next major set comes out and Rebellion rotates out of modern I'll have a silver level deck for modern. I have almost a set of silver level cards for Conclave Arcana which im currently renting out. Using those funds from renting to rent a gold level deck for wild and rentals for workers on land. If i manage to rent the whole silver deck out i earn over 500 DEC a day. With land costs im breaking even or a little negative but the other accounts by far make up for it. Im not making alot of money doing this but building up the accounts and selling what i need to to continue everything. The whole reason im doing it is because i like passive income with investment. Ive been involved with the game for a long time. Actually in a little over a week it marks my 7th year of being in splinterlands. I believe in the game and always have. They just need more users and the game will flourish. Even now they are doing well. Making enough to pay everyone and continue the game. Constantly add new things to the game. Keeping things exciting. I am excited for the future of Splinterlands even if i am botting to earn my assests. I don't have the funds to invest really but i have time to manage a small amount of accounts to make my main account more competitive and have land which i think will have major role in the game in the future. There is a demand for new reward cards and im helping provide that i feel. I am enjoying the game in a management type of way at the moment. Thats not why im here. I truly enjoy playing the game because its fun.
