We may all have differences between us, but one thing that surely unites us all is our desire for Peace. We want people to stop killing other people. But, in order to work toward achieving peace we need to understand why we don’t have it in the first place. What's causing systemic violence on this planet?

First, we need to wake up to the illusion of the 2 party system. This illusion leads us to believe that we have a choice. There is no choice. In every election more government wins and people lose more liberty and wealth.

We need to remove our consent and stop participating in this lie. This is a step by step process of scaling back where we can as individuals to rely less on corporate consumerism, state services, and instead become more self reliant and network with our friends and neighbors for our needs.

The partisan bickering only serves to divide us. This is no accident. You are welcome to speak in the media between narrowly defined differences of Republicans and Democrats, but draw outside the lines or you'll be silenced.

This system is specifically designed to pit us against one another, to silence voices that don’t fall in line, and to do whatever it takes to spread their message of false narratives.

The government starts by creating fear within us especially when it comes to other countries. Especially in America they combine this fear with a fierce nationalism to make us the divinely chosen and those that have what we want the sacrificial other that threatens our way of life. So it goes when nations want war.

They create this same fear right here at home in order to divide us and keep us distracted from the Truth of their lies.

While this is disheartening to hear or read it is also empowering. Making a real difference in the world is not accomplished by voting for more government every four years, but by withdrawing consent and making different choices. Through our choices we can achieve a life of peace, abundance, and liberty for all people on this planet.

What's causing systemic violence on this planet? you asked. I can saythat the answer is humanity. Humans are bad my friend. They want more money, more power, more more more... Does she/he need more? Absolutely no. But because of its emotions, arrogance; it can't stop itself.

animals are pretty violent

Which animal use weapon, bombs, atomic bombs?
Which animal start war?

the law of nature is really much more merciful than ours...

Absolutely. The law of nature has an aim. But human's behaviour may be aimless. Like wars, bombs etc.

Chimps have wars.

Think about the evolution. People have much similarities with chimps.

we are animals and many animals are territorial, not just predators squirrels are territorial, they will go at it. Corals are having extraordinary wars with one another.

History teaches that wars begin when governments believe the price of aggression is cheap.

Awsome post!

Interested to join with this great Peace Academy. Everyone should think about this Academy .

In my country Nigeria, we dont operate a 2 party system, yet there is relatively no peace. I think the 2 party system shouldn't be a problem. If man must be peaceful, selfish politics must be eschewed.

I'm sad to say it, but I see no future for the US if they don't change their political system and really allow more than two parties. This system ist predestined to divide this great nation!!!
this video shows how it could work differently:

i love this. thanks for sharing this to us

nice idea aggroed.

The moment we realise that this power is in our hands and decide to use it wisely .. Things would become better for us and the society we live in .. Nice one mate @aggroed

Exactly, withdraw consent, stop participating. That's the only way to fight back peacefully. I was very alone when I started my journey to remove my dependencies on the system but in the last while I'm pleased to see so many others following suit! We're in this together afterall.

@wwf describes his journey to complete withdrawal in great detail and success on his blog, I highly recommend checking it out!

Great idea!

Keep steeming

Desire is what drives it all. I'm not telling what you should do, but try eliminating the feeling of "desire" for one day. How different do you feel about things that usually upset you?

Rule by force is the disease, who and how are symptoms.

Until the masses stop accepting that these people get to force those people to comply, this is what we get.

very interesting what it raises. Certainly politics divides us. None have an absolute truth and most of the time they only look for individual and selfish benefits. I think it's a good initiative to allow this to be a portal for opinions. Excellent post!

Focus on me and make friends.
