No it doesn't.
That only means anything between people that have built that trust over a period of time. BETWEEN THEMSELVES ONLY.

Reputation on chain is not a thing outside of that. Someone coming in here new sees every individual user as just a username.

At data level there is nothing implying trust. Even an account here for years is no more trustworthy than a new one on paper.

Just as someone might say "well years on chain means they have a reputation to protect therefore: trust" it could equally be "years on chain means they are skillful at fooling people into trusting them "

But their actions could not be defined by time. Specially if for years they've been running money schemes to enrich themselves. Such as @blocktrades and @smooth.

Yet the fools on HIVE believe that those two are trustworthy names. Their exit ramps aren't recorded on chain so reputation on chain is meaningless.

What matters in the movement of money and it's digital footprint. Not some make-believe reputation.
