RE: Week 7 - Pay It Forward Curation Contest - CLOSED NO NEW ENTRIES

in #payitforward6 years ago

Hey brother!!! Thanks so much for the shout out. It's actually a good thing you did so. I've been meaning for the longest time to throw a little bit more your way for you to keep helping new guys. I've just been so busy, inside here and in the real world that I haven't found the opportunity, or I've just forgotten a couple times. 😀 Anyway I love you for the support you give and for the way that you were helping so many people. And I wish to encourage you to continue and please let me know if you need any help. I've said it before... But I mean it, if you need help let me know! You know like for funding your first time bonus. ☺

Sort:

@johndoer123 - I saw that you had time for your new found buddy, the turtle who you met on your way to work. 🐸 🐢 and perhaps even time for a 🐛 or a 🐌, but not us 🙄 or 🎅 hehehe JK
How you been? 😎
No, I am fine with doing the first time bonus financially, but, really would love participation from others.
You are the only one who stepped up so generously and that is enough in my book - IF you don't go AWOL too much, brother 😏 😆
I am not counting @thedarkhorse and his generous contributions because this is his contest and it is already a very generous effort not just in SBD, but in the time and efforts - I hope that makes sense to ya Y'All ...

It made Perfectly good sense. And I've been doing just fine. Trying to get a loan right now for a farm. You going to stop by tomorrow to take a guess at the "Steemit jar" contest?

Trying to get a loan right now for a farm.

Where and what kind?

My dream is to buy 100 acres in the Ozarks in Arkansas (north west corner, I think) and perhaps clear off 10 acres for a small farm for organic food, chickens, turkeys, fish pond, goats, and pigs ...

I am also hoping to find homesteaders to collaborate there where I would provide the land and they, the younger people, would build their homes - preferably earth ship homes or log-cabins ...

First, I have family down in Arkansas somewhere. Secondly I'm trying to buy a place near my home in Illinois. Thirdly You Can Count Me In. Just sounds like a wonderful idea! But wait, aren't you in China?

cool!
I came from Hong Kong in 1971 and went to Northwestern university for Chemical Engineering. Got my first job in Houston, Texas and "settled down" here ever since, "sort of" - long story - but, anyways - home is either Houston or http://www.questaverde.com.
