Well, the mission of BANANA PROGRAM is very serious indeed.
If you haven’t noticed, we have a caste system in Steem, which is actually more like a serfdom, a world full of beggars.
#Just look at the retention rate. It’s abysmal and there’s a good reason why it sucks so bad.
Nothing can compete with the ROI of bidbots, and unless we all get really creative and come up with a different way for SP holders to gain ROI, I’m afraid that this platform could be disrupted and MySpaced.
However there is something that most witnesses and SP holders don’t know about and don’t understand. New users need lots of positive feedback, daily activity must translate into rewards and guess what, the Partiko app does just this.
I hear that these points will be converted into upvotes and I can say that by using this app for over a week, it has that sticky, addictive quality the same as Facebook. Why the whales are not all over this, quite frankly I don’t understand. My guess is that Bc of their bidbots, they have basically left the platform.
Why the fuck would anyone do any work when they can earn like 30 Steem per day for doing nothing?
Wake up. This will kill this platform but even I am considering doing this. Why?
THERE IS NO PROFITABLE ALTERNATIVE.
We need to get really creative fast. The immediate problem of users feeling like shit can be alleviated immediately by downloading the @partiko app.
It’s really like a shield against the harsh beggar-like atmosphere of Steemit.
If there is any newbie out there, I would seriously have them avoid using the Steemit.com site because it’s not really made for user happiness. Only nerds on desktop and people without phones should use it.
Steemit fucked up by not paying attention to User happiness and not doing things like giving people Steem (or points) for for logging in, upvoting and being active.
The competition is doing this.
Recently I tried out a lot of apps and they are all doing something like this. It’s common sense as getting activity rewards actually works to retain users. Retention of users is the #1 problem we have right now but WE HAVE A REAL SOLUTION: PARTIKO.
I’m not going to stop talking about this because this app is that good. IM PICKY AS HELL. It solves my negative feelings about Steemit, and so I know it can help many other users who feel
Powerless. We can earn points for being active! Points will be converted into upvotes (as far as I know).
There is a leaderboard in Partiko so you can see who are the most active Users. I’m currently trying to get on that leaderboard and it’s something positive to work towards as I continue doing what I’ve been doing the past weeks: writing, commenting, voting and resteeming.
Wake up. Get educated on this app. Share your knowledge. If we don’t work together and share knowledge all of our hard work will be flushed down the toilet.
I know what users need to feel good. I’m one of them. People need a protective shield from the idiotic way Steemit was thoughtlessly designed.
The Partiko team listens to their users and adjusts accordingly. This is the #1 trait in business. Talk to the developer @crypto.talk, he’s very cordial and nice. I pointed out a flaw recently and they fixed it immediately. This is professionalism. The more users who get on Partiko the more happy people will be here.
This is all my opinion. I don’t work for Partiko. I’m a fan only.

Nice. So If I understand right you can earn banana points on their dapp that would feed back into Steem upvotes later. So similar to how an SMT would work. A micro-economy with it's own set of rules and UX within a larger economy? I hope the UX is good b/c that's one thing Steemit lacks in and of course better more fair rewards system.
People compete weekly and get real prizes sent to them in the mail.

Hmmmm I’m not really wanting to commit to a Banana Economy due to my ADD. I have trouble sticking to one idea. I want flexibility so I want to be able to change all the time, if Partiko has its own coin I’d adopt that I think.

They probably will eventually and DTube if successful. It would be great if they do because it creates a positive feedback loop into Steem value, much like ERC-20's do with Ethereum. "The Dapp Social Media Economy". That's plan anyway with Steem. I'll try Partiko.
The @partiko app is really something. I'm getting hooked to it because it's so easy to use. The points system does also play a part in making it more addictive.

Yes it’s safe to say that I’m 100% addicted already and it definitely takes the edge off not getting rewards .... it’s like a band-aid approach but as more and more people use it, I believe the points can become more and more integral and important to the ecosystem. Partiko also watches for scammers and calls them out on spammy behavior.

Surfing steem through partiko is quite easy on phone rather than browser. In steem whoever have more SP, have more influence in the platform. But for the beginner it's requires a lot to get attention. But to build the community bigger and stronger people need to support each other else it will take a very long time for steem to become another facebook. If community grows then automatically people will be benefitted.

You know what a lot of whale account do not care for the minnow. Then, you come with Banna Program which make a lot of people engage it and get reward for joing your program. A lot of my friend quit on steemit because they made a good content with sometimes take a long time to provide a good content but then they didnt get any upvote because they are new and not someone who have a huge SP.

Yeah I agree with u @stellabelle. I myself really grateful for what u did. Beside u help minnow steemian who need attention from whale, u also make @partiko become bigger at the same time. Partiko give us a point each of our activity which makes us feel rewarded for spending time there. Im addicted to partiko to be honest then I supprise and happy when I know ur Banana Program. I'm glad you're telling it how it is. I think a lot of us--especially if we've been around a while--feel dismayed (? I'm not sure what the word I'm looking for here is) by the platform and all the bid bot BS, circle jerking and lack of engagement going on. I know I feel a lot less bullish than I did even 6 months ago and it's not cos of the steem price (although that doesn't help).
I knew about partiko but not about the rewards. You've convinced me to download it and give it a go.
Thanks. All I ask is that everyone get educated and take a clean look. It’s easy to get discouraged and for me I’m glad I left for awhile. It helped me see more clearly about the competition

I heard they will be converted to upvotes but it’s not officially announced yet. Personally I love getting acknowledged for my activity and I suggested this a long time ago (to deaf ears). The Partiko team has already done a lot of user suggestions. It might be because they are already in a business world (I hear the code dev works for AIRBNB) and AirBNB is heavily invested in User happiness

I really hate using my phone. I much prefer to use the desktop computer. I do appreciate your initiative here. I myself have started some writing contests. Have to pay for them out of pocket though. It would be nice if STINC sponsered a few things with their stake.
I like any app that makes it easy and fast to access steemit. Most e-commerce companies pay special attention to mobile apps and give incentives in terms of discounts. They know lots of people use their mobile phone, that if they are many on mobile that they'd have a higher customer/retention system. I like the program you introduced, sometimes I think we are a little too serious on steemit. A little fun won't hurt anyone :)

This platform is influenced by bots and was boring but with new concept of competitions, contest which all app or platform on sttemit adopting and these contest like banana program making it really interesting and similarly app like partiko wen giving additional motivation with point system. all this help in bringing life on steemit platform. It's again funny and enjoyable.

I downloaded Partiko last week after seeing it mentioned in one of your posts. It took me few days to stumble across the Points feature - I still can't remember to open it up and check in every day even though it is my primary way to browse the blockchain and make comments.
I like the notifications feature and the fact that it works very smoothly on my Galaxy S7 cheapo-phone and our slow wireless network. Partiko is way better than Steepshot, which gave me so much trouble that I was pulling my hair out.

Well I am one of those tiny accounts looking to grow. I am also probably one of the nerds on a desktop ;) I have learned to use the Steemit site but am always on the lookout for a boost to account growth.
That leader board perks up my competitive interest.

BTW Asher really does have an army of minions. He sends us out each week to type our fingers off in striving to reach the top of his charts. Just proves ranking among peers can be a huge motivating factor.
