If I were in SF area I'd definitely go to Brenda's soul food kitchen on Polk St. Creole food, it's a must try.

Yes man I lived in Santa Cruz, Mendocino, Grass Valley, basically all around the city for nearly 10 years before moving to Malaysia. Definitely give Brenda's a try!
