When the developers of Steem Engine announced its launch about 10 months ago, I was excited about the prospects for this platform within the Steem ecosystem.
Steem Engine allows the tokens created on its platform to be traded against Steem, thus allowing market forces to ascribe a value to every token.
Since its launch, Steem Engine has listed a dizzying array of tokens for investors.
Buyers of each token can either hold it as a long term investment or engage in trading.
Of course, choosing the tokens with excellent underlying value based on their use cases requires a fair amount of research.
In my opinion, Steem Engine is akin to a crypto stock exchange for companies building viable and sustainable use cases for their tokens.
Companies whose tokens get widely adopted will experience a tremendous surge in value.
