Hello everyone,
So this past weekend I took a trip to a Denver. Anyone that really knows me can tell you that I am not the vacation type. However, this was more than a vacation, this trip was a 15 year reunion with my brothers in arms from the Marine Corps. It has been close to 15 years since we last went to Iraq and we all lost some good men in battle. Unfortunately, last year we lost another brother to a more difficult battle than war. This time we lost one of our brothers due to suicide. We quickly gathered our resources and received assistance from a non profit organization within the past year to unite all service men that served in our platoon together. Marines from all over the world met to catch up and meet the silver and gold family members that lost their loved ones due to war and PTSD. This has been the most humbling experience of my life and it was great to catch up with these brothers. Semper Fi

It's absolutely insane how little support there is for veterans in this country. Mental illness is hard enough to conquer as it is, I can't even imagine how much more difficult it gets after seeing some of the things you guys put yourself out there to see. Sorry to hear of your loss bro, much love. Thank you for your serving and protecting us all. 🤘
Thanks dude, your right it is pretty crazy. But with great brothers like these guys and an awesome support system back home it’s definitely bearable. Thank you for being part of that support system brother. 🤙🤙
