Governments have abused fiat money. Like all things, those in power can not control themselves...
That why we need to reset the system with crypto instead...
As I said earlier as well, fiat money will be vanished from the global economy one day. There is no control over the production of fiat money which is a biggest loophole and an open invitation to frauds and corruption.
Politicians and governments are afraid of crypto money. Cryptocurrency is not under control of anyone. Governments and Politicians will lose control over the citizens and this will end democracy.
I am waiting for that day when whole world will accept crypto currency. This seems difficult but it is possible. People have started believing in decentralized systems rather than third parties. Base for decentralized applications is trust and that is the reason it is very fascinating.
Well, government will play its role of villain against the crypto currency but at the end crypto is gonna win. People are losing faith on governments due to corruption, frauds by millionaires, bankruptcy, scams. The list is endless. Time will tell the reality.

Crypto will provide more freedom over the control of the money for all citizens of the planet earth. Governments will stay in place, we always need some form of management to avoid the anarchy and chaos.
You are right. But we need to keep an eye on them trying to take back control i.e. by analysing the blockchains. Decentralization is a strength but the inherent effect of transparency is a weakness. Luckily the market is faster than the rulers. Let's keep it up like this.
I believe transparency is a good feature of a decentralized system, like on Steemit, everyone can see the wallet of any user in the system.
